Have any of you guys played around with Google's "NotebookLM", specifically the "Generate a Conversation" function that simulates two podcasters discussing shit?

It's pretty interesting and fun to play with - you can point it at all sorts of content and listen to them chat it up. The most fun I've had with it was having "them" discuss a random pubg game I played ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZuDcdlmBkk ) but there are countless ways to have fun with it.

Today I decided to point it at my dove-general.sdt file, that hasn't been purged since mid/late 2021. The AI gets a bit confused over certain things (ie it thinks "DoveNet" is the BBS, and that it's only been around since 2021) but that could be corrected if I improved my prompts when generating the conversation (I basically just said "summarize this archive of bbs posts").

It's quite entertaining to listen to the AI podcasters discuss "difficult" personalities like MRO and Gamgee LOL. Anyhow, if you're interested in listening to this particular summary, here is the link and how the AI summarized the content:

it's certainly remarkable and scary. i think ai generated content is going to take over everything. i have seen it on instagram with those thirst trap girls in bikinis. they can do videos with ai generated boobs and faces over a real person and it looks almost real.

i was just worried about voice duplication, but they could create an ai video of someone comitting a crime or anything.

Like I said, I just pointed it to my "dove-general.sdt" file from my bbs. The first entry from that file was Sun Oct 24 2021 (I just checked now) and the last entry would have been 30 minutes or so before I made yesterday's post. NotebookLM was rejecting the file (with no reason) so I used a text splitter to split it into 10 parts, then uploaded each part without issue.

As for my prompt, you don't need to use one, you can just click "generate conversation" but I think I used a custom prompt where i just said "this is an archive of messages from DoveNet from 2021 to present, summarize" (or something very similar, I can't recall my exact prompt). Prompts are limited to 500 characters.

i guess this is kinda new but there's this guy running an instagram,etc page with a woman. her boobs are slightly different sizes in every video and something just doesn't look right. then he has an onlyfans. there's also a bot that replies to people. people were calling him out on the stuff. if you have a good enough eye it's obvious there's real time ai doctoring in the videos. it's beyond filters

It looks like the posts are saved as plain text in the .sdt files, with some things in between the posts.

It'd be better to export the message text, with headers (metadata). A lot of context would be lost from just parsing the .sdt file.
